Joyce vs Usyk for the WBO Interim on April 17th?

On April 17, at the event in London, Joe Joyce (12-0, 11 KOs) and Alexander Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) may fight for the interim WBO heavyweight belt. Recently, the World Boxing Organization officially obliged fighters to start negotiations for this fight.

Negotiations on this issue have been going on for several weeks. The Ukrainian and British teams will probably come to an agreement without participating in the promotional bids.

The winner of Usyk vs Joyce fight will become the mandatory contender for the winner of the fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. The fight for the title of undisputed heavyweight champion is tentatively scheduled for June.
