In the first fight, which took place in August, the Briton was the favorite, but lost by devastating KO. Whyte is still confident before the second fight.
“In the fourth round, I sent him to the floor twice and controlled the fight. Then he caught me with a strong punch, I was out of luck because I was in a bad position. But that happens in boxing. One mistake is enough for the battle to end,” said the Body Snatcher.
“In the rematch I don't need to change anything. I have to fight the same, but avoid mistakes. I watched our first fight several times. One more punch from my side was enough to get him to the floor so that he wouldn't be able to get up,” Whyte said.
The British coaching staff before the March fight, among others, was joined by Harold Knight, who was previously one of the coaches of Lennox Lewis. The venue for the March rematch has not yet been finalized, although it will most likely be Wembley Arena in London.
