Hearn: For me, Joshua will be a favorite against Fury

Promoter of Anthony Joshua (24-1, 21 KOs) Eddie Hearn believes that his boxer will defeat Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) in the fight for the undisputed heavyweight title. The British champions are due to meet at the turn of May and June.

“Joshua will be my favorite. I know the bookmakers are betting on Fury, but I can see the progress Anthony has made, his will to win," Matchroom Boxing boss told Sky Sports.

“On the other hand, I predicted Fury's defeat in the battles with Klitschko and Wilder, and he showed me that I was wrong. However, this time I think that I am right and my boxer will win, but this is just talk - the ring will show,” Hearn said.

According to recent reports from promoters of Fury and Joshua, negotiations for their fight are nearing completion. The issues of the venue of the duel and television rights are currently being discussed.
