Frank Warren said in an interview to IFL TV that negotiations are underway to organize a fight between Alexander Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) and Joe Joyce (12-0, 11 KOs).
The stake in this fight will be the interim WBO heavyweight title, the mandatory contender for which Usyk is.
If negotiations with Usyk were ultimately crowned with success, Anthony Joshua (24-1, 21 KOs) and Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) could challenge a full set of championship belts in the summer. However, Usyk does not intend to give up his championship confrontation with Joshua.
