Monson announces his retirement

MMA veteran Jeff Monson wrote a post announcing the end of his fighting career. The fact is that the 49-year-old fighter tore a tendon, it will take at least a year to recover from this injury, so he decided to retire.

“With tears in my eyes and a heavy heart, I write this knowing that tomorrow there is no training, no upcoming events...” Monson wrote.

It is worth noting that Monson, being an American, has a Russian passport and was even a member of the Council of Deputies of the Krasnogorsk city district.
