Cormier predicts the UFC championship belt for Makhachev

Former UFC two-weight champion Daniel Cormier is confident that Islam Makhachev can become lightweight champion of the promotion. DC noted that Islam has all the necessary skills.

“I am sure of this, not only because he is one of my friends and teammates, but also because I truly believe - Islam Makhachev is more talented than anyone else in the world...” Cormier said.

Earlier Khabib Nurmagomedov has repeatedly stated that Makhachev is the future UFC lightweight champion.
