Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) hopes that the WBO will not interfere with his fight against Anthony Joshua (24-1, 21 KOs), which obliges AJ to carry out an immediate defense of the heavyweight title against Alexander Usyk (18-0,13 KOs).
“If Joshua has to give up this belt, I am sure he will, because our fight is the main fight of our generation. I hope this is his plan and he will give the fans the fight they really want,” the King of Gypsies said on Monday on Good Morning Britain.
If Joshua gives up the World Boxing Organization belt, it will be challenged by Usyk and Joe Joyce (12-0, 11 KOs), who landed second in the Organization's rankings after defeating Daniel Dubois.
