Matchroom Boxing has officially confirmed that an unbeaten Polish boxer Nikodem Jezewski (19-0-1, 9 KOs) will face Lawrence Okolie (14-0, 11 KOs) on Saturday night in London. It is not yet known whether the vacant WBO cruiserweight title, for which the Englishman was supposed to battle with Krzysztof Glowacki, will be at the stake in this fight.
The Pole arrived in the capital of England on Sunday, changing his plans at the last moment. Prior to that, the next fight of Jezewski was supposed to take place on Friday in Poland against Youri Kalenga.
The main event of the evening in London will be the fight of Anthony Joshua, who will defend his WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles against Kubrat Pulev.
