After defeating Martin Murray in the volunteer defense, WBO super middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders has little time to choose his next opponent. WBO President Paco Valkarcel said on social media: “The WBO is awaiting Eddie Hearn's decision within 10 days on whether [Saunders] will fight Canelo or Andrade in his next fight. If he does not meet with any of them, we will oblige him to carry out a mandatory title defense with an opponent who will be appointed by the championship committee."

No. 1 in the WBO at the moment is Saul Alvarez, No. 2 is Zach Parker, who was supposed to fight Cesar Nunez on the Saunders vs Murray undercard tonight. Unfortunately, a cutman of Nunez tested positive for COVID and the Parker-Nunez fight was canceled. So, most likely, Saunders will face Zach Parker in his next fight.
