“The negotiations are progressing and I feel that we are close to reaching an agreement. My people communicate with Bob Arum regularly. He assures us that he and Crawford really want to fight me, so I hope to give fans an emotional end to the year and close it on a positive note,” Brook said.

“Crawford is a champion, so he wants to fight in the USA, Las Vegas, as they say. It suits me. I've always wanted to fight in Sin City. I have already toppled the American world champion in his hometown (Shawn Porter in 2014 - ed.), So I can't wait to do it again. Arum is targeting mid-November, so prepare fireworks. We will rock the ring!" The Englishman added.

“I love sharp boxing, I feel good. I have never felt so good at this stage of training. People talk about my age, but they forget that Terence will be 33 before our fight. In this respect, there is not much difference between us. Now I am a more mature boxer than I was before and I will prepare for a big fight. Crawford is an elite boxer, but he has never fought someone as physically strong, tough, fast and accurate as me. I know he knows it. No one at 147 pounds can take my right hand!" summed up the topic 34-year-old Brook.

After losing to Errol Spence in 2017 and losing the IBF belt, Brook has had three junior middleweight victories, the most recent in February 2020 when he knocked out Mark DeLuca with his trademark left hand. Crawford has spent his last four welterweight fights, where he moved in 2018 and toppled Jeff Horn. Then Terence won successive fights with Jose Benavides, Amir Khan and Egidijus Kavaliauskas. He fought with the Lithuanian in December last year, and stopped him.
