Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14 KOs) requires an official confirmation of the date of his fight against Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs). The fight is about to take place on December 5 in London, but the date of this confrontation has already been postponed several times. “I am offended that Joshua does not want to confirm the date of the fight. We heard about December 5 and are preparing for this date, but I want to be sure,” Pulev said.

Initially, it was reported that Joshua vs Pulev fight would take place outside the UK. In the end, the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion of the world demanded from his promoter a fight in front of his native audience that he hadn't boxed before since 2018.

Joshua's representatives are now awaiting the decision of the UK government to unfreeze sports and entertainment events with fans. A few weeks ago, it was planned to organize this fight in the form of a banquet with spectators sitting at tables in the concert hall or at the square. According to preliminary estimates, such an event could be seen live by up to 1000 spectators.

Within the framework of the same evening, Lawrence Okolie and Krzysztof Glowacki will fight for the vacant WBO belt in the cruiserweight division.
