Eddie Hearn sat down with talkSPORT's Michael Benson to comment on Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs) meeting Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) over the weekend. The two world heavyweight champions clashed with each other in the Spanish resort of Marbella - according to promoter AJ, completely by accident.
"It is amazing!" Hearn said. "People think it was set up. AJ was just walking down the street, and suddenly Fury drove up to him, opened the window and asked, "How are you?"
“Then he said: Do your best to beat Pulev! AJ answered: And you beat Wilder. They both answered: I will win, see you next year!" the head of Matchroom Boxing commented on the unusual meeting.
According to preliminary agreements made in June, the unification fight for four heavyweight titles of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury could take place in the summer of 2021.
