Yan does not want to be compared with Khabib

Newly crowned UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan spoke on being compared to his compatriot UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“I do not think that we need to be compared. We are completely different. We are in different weight categories. We have different styles. Each one is good in his own way. I don’t want to be like anyone. Everyone is good in his own way,” Yan said.

Petr Yan won the championship belt by stopping Jose Aldo in the fifth round. Their fight took place at UFC 251.

Earlier it became known that Yan appeared in the P4P ratings of UFC, being placed at 13th place.
