Minakov names the reasons why Yan defeated Aldo

The famous Russian MMA fighter Vitaly Minakov spoke out on the victory of Petr Yan in the title fight with Jose Aldo. According to Minakov, Yan’s motivation played a big role in this fight.

“Petr Yan is young and very motivated. And in his sports life Aldo had everything, and he is not so hungry for the victory. It is clear that he wanted to win the title, it is clear that he was almost invincible for his top 10 years. As we could see Yan simply destroyed his entire division...” Minakov said.

Yan defeated Aldo by TKO in the fifth round and won the UFC lightweight champion belt.
