The promotion organization Top Rank begins the process of terminating the contract with Jarrell Miller (23-0-1, 21 KOs) after the American has once again been doped. Big Baby was supposed to make his debut under the banner of a new promoter at an evening in Las Vegas on Thursday, but in the end, he was replaced by former title challenger Carlos Takam.
Bob Arum announced that Miller would never appear again at the Top Rank evenings, and the contract with the boxer, signed a few months ago, would soon become invalid. The New Yorker was caught doping for the fourth time in twelve months, although he pleaded not guilty.
According to unofficial information, when signing the contract, Arum promised Miller a fight against Tyson Fury, whose interests he also represents. The head of Top Rank believes that the 32-year-old boxer will be suspended from fighting in the pro rings for years to come and will probably not return to the sport.
“If a professional boxer reaches for doping during training in order to better cope with the difficulties in the fight, I treat this behavior as a kill attempt,” Arum said.
