Flores defeats Ruiz on points

Undefeated lightweight Gabriel Flores Jr. (18-0, 6 KOs) scored a one-sided victory by unanimous decision over Josec Ruiz (21-3-3, 14 KOs) in the main event of the Top Rank evening at the MGM Arena in Las Vegas. In the second round Ruiz was on the floor. The scores were 100-89 all the board.

For 20-year-old Flores, this was the first 10-round fight in his career. The Top Rank promotion organization signed to Flores when he was just 16.

Former MMA fighter Clay Collard (6-3-3, 2 KOs) scored an unexpected victory by a split decision over the previously undefeated David Kaminsky (6-1, 3 KOs). Scores were twice 58-56 in favor of Collard and a very strange 58-56 in favor of Kaminsky. According to statistics for six rounds, Collard outlanded Kaminsky in punches 158-102.

Kaminsky was urgently taken from the locker room to the hospital for examination and stitching. At the moment, Kaminsky is doing well.
