Magdaleno defeats Vicente by DQ

Former world champion Jesse Magdaleno (28-1, 18 KOs) defeated Yenifel Vicente (36-5-2, 28 KOs) when the latter was disqualified in the tenth round. Their bout was the main event of the evening at the Bubble of Top Rank at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Already in the first round, Vicente was knocked down. In the fourth round, Vicente punched the opponent below the belt, and then send Magdaleno to the floor with a right-hand to the head. After several minutes of recovery, Magdaleno was able to continue the fight, and referee Robert Bird deducted two points from Vicente. Later in the same round, Vicente was deducted another point for a low blow.

In the fifth round, Vicente was again on the floor. In the tenth and final round, Vicente again received a penalty for a low blow, and after some time, after another such blow, the referee finally disqualified Vicente. The time was 1:38.
