White says Jones and Masvidal have 7 more fights by the contract

UFC President Dana White said that Jorge Masvidal and Jon Jones will not be able to leave the organization. Both fighters recently signed new deals with the promotion and are expected to fight seven more times.

“The problem is that they have more than three fights left. They cannot say, hell, I signed the contract three years ago, now I am in a completely different situation. This is not, they made agreements several months ago ...” the functionary said.

Earlier Jon Jones announced that he left his belt of the UFC light heavyweight champion vacant and left the promotion.
