Bob Arum announced that he was awaiting the official approval of the Las Vegas authorities and athletic commission to organize boxing events without spectators in June and July. This should only be a formality, because such permission has already been obtained by UFC, which will return in Vegas on May 30.

Top Rank plans to organize three boxing nights a week, which will be shown on ESPN. Official approval for Arum tournaments must be issued no later than May 27th. Then the American promoter will present the lineups of these evenings for the coming weeks.

Most likely, the first such evening will take place on June 9, and WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson will take part in it. In June, Jose Pedras, former world champion in two weight categories, will also return to the ring. In early July, fans will see in action the WBO Featherweight World Champion Jamel Herring, who will meet Jonathan Oquendo.

The first evening of DAZN will be held in early July. The event is planned in California, and its main star will be the WBC silver lightweight champion Ryan Garcia.
