At UFC 249, Henry Cejudo successfully defended his bantamweight title by defeating Dominic Cruz by TKO. After the fight Cejudo announced his retirement.
“Today I am leaving. I am happy with how my career has developed. Dana White, I want to thank you for everything. You are a real man. Thank you very much. Triple C is leaving. You guys won’t have to listen to my bullshit anymore,” Cejudo said.
