The World Boxing Council (WBC) is trying to develop rules for organizing champion fights during a pandemic. One of the ideas under consideration is the judges' assessment of fights online without being present at the event.

“I admit that we have been working on such a solution for several years. We have a platform that is ready to use and will help reduce the number of people working at the boxing event,” Mauricio Sulaiman, the President of the Council said.

The platform, created by the World Boxing Council, will provide judges with access to video and audio from the fight. The judges will evaluate each round in real time, and everything will be monitored by WBC observer present at the evening, who will pass the result to the person leading the competition.

WBC is known for its judging experiments. A few years ago, they tried to enter an open account with the announcing of scorecards during champion fights. This innovation was not widely accepted.
