UFC 249: Gaethje and Ferguson agree to fight

Just yesterday, information appeared that UFC was planning its 249th tournament on May 9. It was also said that Tony Ferguson will headline the event with Justin Gaethje. Today it became known that both fighters gave verbal agreement for the battle.

The title of interim lightweight champion will be at stake in this fight.

UFC 249 was supposed to be held on April 18 in an Indian reservation.
