Well-known boxing journalist and analytics Dan Rafael broke up with ESPN after 15 years of collaboration. The 49-year-old American is one of the most famous boxing journalists in the United States.
Rafael performed most of his work on the official ESPN website, where he published news every day, led his regular columns and organized weekly chats with readers.
It is still unknown what the future of the journalist will be. Prior to ESPN, Rafael worked for USA Today. In 2013, the American won, among other things, the prestigious award for journalism excellence from the Boxing Journalists Association.
