Exactly a week ago, information appeared about problems with the law of Iyanna Mayweather, the daughter of the famous Floyd Mayweather Jr. (50-0, 27 KOs). She attacked another woman with a knife during an argument. Now she faces an impressive prison sentence.

The two girls had a falling out over a rapper guy acting under the pseudonym Youngboy (real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden). Floyd's daughter claimed that the young man is her partner, but another girl has a child with a guy. A quarrel arose between the two, they moved to the kitchen, where Iyanna stabbed the rival with a knife twice.

The Houston trial is due to begin in August. Mayweather’s daughter does not plead guilty, but if she loses the court, she faces a maximum sentence of up to 99 years. If the act is not assessed as an attack using a weapon of the second degree, then the “fork of imprisonment” will change significantly, and it will be within 2–20 years. One thing is certain that the best lawyers will protect the girl.

“If you stab or shoot someone and the person remains alive, you can end up in jail for a period from two to twenty years,” Mayweather's lawyer said.

The Texas Penal Code provides that, under state law, a person found guilty of a first-degree offense can be sentenced to up 99 years. Crime of the second degree is punished by a term of from 2 to 20 years.

The past few weeks have not been the best time for Floyd. Josie Harris, the mother of his three children, recently died. A few days later, his uncle and former coach Roger Mayweather passed away. And now there are serious problems with his daughter.
