UFC promotion canceled its 249th tournament, as well as all upcoming events. This was originally written on Twitter by ESPN journalist Brett Okamoto, and later confirmed by the president of the organization, Dana White. According to Mr. White, he received a call from above, after which he decided to cancel the tournaments and reschedule them indefinitely.

UFC planned to hold events on April 19 and 26, as well as on May 3 and 10. But, apparently, now these events will take place in the summer.

UFC 249 was to be held on April 19 in an Indian reservation. The tournament was to be led by a duel for the interim lightweight title between Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje.
