On Saturday at the boxing evening in Sheffield the British heavyweight David Allen (18-5-2, 15 KOs) had his first fight this year. 27-year-old fighter knocked Doran Darch (12-12-1, 1 KOs) out in the third round, but not everybody appreciated the performance of Allen.
In social networks there were many allegations that the duel was fixed. Allen fought too calmly during the first two rounds, and only in the third he bursted out and finished his enemy with a strong attack.
As it turned out, before the fight bookmakers received a lot of bets on Allen's victory in the third round. Some companies even decided to withdraw that option from their odds.
Allen rushed to refute the accusations. He was supported, among others, by the world champion in two weight categories Billy Joe Saunders. For Allen Saturday's performance was a return to the ring after losing last year to David Price.
