Beterbiev to meet Bivol in Russia in August?

In August Artur Beterbiev (15-0, 15 KOs) could go into the ring at the football stadium "Gazprom Arena" in St. Petersburg, Russia. Recently, there was an informal information according to which Dmitry Bivol (17-0, 11 KOs) could become Beterbiev's rival in this bout.

The bout with WBA, IBF and WBC light heavyweight titles at the stake could be watched live by almost 70 000 spectators. 35-year-old Beterbiev has all of his professional fights held in the United States and Canada. The August performance will be the professional debut for Beterbiev in front of his hometown audience.

Before that Beterbiev returns to the ring on March 28 in Quebec, and will hold a mandatory defense of his IBF belt against Fanlong Meng (16-0, 10 KOs) of China. Bivol last fought in October, and his next fight will take place early in April.
