The Chinese paid $1.9 million and won bids for the organization of the fight for the IBF light heavyweight belt of Artur Beterbiev (15-0, 15 KOs) and Fanlong Meng (16-0, 10 KOs).

The bout, which will be a mandatory title defense for the Russian is likely to be held in China in the spring. Promoter Bob Arum also took part in the tender, but his proposal was "only" $1.35 million.

Artur Beterbiev besides IBF belt also holds the WBC trophy, which he got by knocking Oleksandr Gvozdyk out in the unification battle.
