Whittaker vs Adesanya officially confirmed for UFC 243

This fight has been rumored for a few days already. But, it was officially confirmed only yesterday. So, the reigning UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will hold his next title defense against interim champion of the organization in this weight category Israel Adesanya. This confrontation will headline UFC 243 tournament which will take place on October 5.

It is worth noting that the event will be held in Melbourne, Australia.
