VADA Anti-Doping Commission officially announced that the results of all samples, before and after the fight of Anthony Joshua (22-1, 21 KOs) with Andy Ruiz Jr. (33-1, 22 KOs), were negative.

Joshua and Ruiz met in the ring on June 1st. The bout ended by technical knockout in the seventh round with the win of the Mexican "Destroyer" who took away WBA, WBO and IBF championship belts in the heavyweight division from the British. Initially Joshua had to face Jarrell Miller, who, however, was caught three times on doping (endurobol, growth hormone, and erythropoietin).

Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr. will compete for the second time until the end of the year. The rematch will take place in November or December, in the United Kingdom or in the United States.
