Ruiz sensationally knocks Joshua out

In the main event of the boxing evening in New York, Andy Ruiz Jr. (33-1, 22 KOs) won by TKO in the seventh round TKO over Anthony Joshua (22-1, 21 KOs) and won WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion belts.

The battle began quietly, in the first two rounds there were no much action, both fighters treated each other with great care, but the third round shocked the Madison Square Garden.

First, after the left hook of Joshua Ruiz fell on the floor. However, in a moment already a champion after challenger's counterattack was knocked down twice and came back to his corner clearly hurt. 10-8 round for Ruiz.

After the fourth round slower Joshua was able to recover in the fifth and landed straight right and left hook.

In the sixth round, Joshua has demonstrated obvious problems with stamina, because shortly before the bell he began to miss almost every punch. The seventh round began with a strong attack of AJ, but then again the Briton was on the floor. After about a dozen of seconds Joshua, exhausted and tired, again fell to the floor of the ring, and due to the fact that he did not respond to commands of the referee, the fight was stopped, and Ruiz was declared the winner by TKO.
