Contrary to the information provided by the Russian promotional company "The world of boxing," Mateusz Masternak (41-5, 28 KOs) will not fight Alexey Egorov (8-0, 6 KOs). Meeting for the WBA cruiserweight "gold" title was scheduled for June 16 in Yekaterinburg.

"We spoke. We negotiated. But some things dragged on too long. Mateusz stopped sparring, his coach flew to Florida. Mateusz would not go to Russia only because of money, because it is not his philosophy of life, he had a different attitude to boxing," Mateusz Borek, Mateusz Masternak manager, explained in Twitter.

It is possible that now, because of the failure of negotiations with the team Egorov Mateusz Masternak come into the ring at the end of June or early July in France against the owner of interim WBA belt Arsen Gyulamiryan (24-0, 16 KOs).
