Hearn: Usyk to return to the ring in September

The undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (16-0, 12 KOs) returns to the ring in September. This was reported by Eddie Hearn a co-promoter of the Ukrainian. This weekend Usyk was about to make his debut in the heavyweight division at DAZN event in Oxon Hill with Carlos Takam fight, but during training Usyk injured biceps, and the fight was canceled.

32-year-old champion from Simferopol, Ukraine, despite his plans to move to heavyweight, continues to hold WBO, WBC and IBF cruiserweight belts. For formal reasons he had to leave only WBA title vacant.
