The battle for an interim lightweight title between the current featherweight champion, Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier will headline the show. Both headliners were flawless on the scales: Holloway’s weight was 155 pounds, Poirier showed 154.5 pounds.
In the second most important event with an interim middleweight title on the line Kelvin Gastelum will face Israel Adesanya. The fighters made a champion weight with a margin: under Gastelum the scales showed 184 pounds, and Adesanya was a pound lighter - 183.
