Gassiev may fight in Russia in 2019

Former cruiserweight champion Murat Gassiev will have several fights in Russia in 2019. This was informed by the Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation Umar Kremlev.

ā€œWe are planning to hold several fights in Russia with Murat Gassiyev, Artur Beterbiev, and Fedor Chudinov. It is necessary that our strongest boxers fight in Russia,ā€ Kremlev said.

This summer Gassiev lost to Oleksandr Usyk, having lost two world champion titles.
