UFC plans to hold one or two tournaments in Russia in 2019. This was said by the vice-president of the UFC Andrei Gromkovsky. “We talked about one or two tournaments in 2019, while we stick to this plan,” said Gromkovsky.

Gromkovsky also said that at the moment there are several candidate cities for holding tournaments, in particular St. Petersburg.

The UFC held the first tournament in Russia on September 15. Competitions were held in the Moscow sports complex "Olympic".
