ESPN denies that Wilder breaks jaw to the mascot

The ESPN television channel issued an official notice on the incident involving Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) while recording one of the programs on which he allegedly broke a jaw to an employee dressed on a set in a tortilla costume.

Yesterday, a video appeared on the Internet in which the WBC heavyweight champion lands heavy right hand at a man in a costume and knocks him down. After the program was released, information appeared in that the victim suffered a broken jaw. Wilder apologized for the incident by offering the poor fellow a ticket to his fight with Tyson Fury (27-0, 19 KOs).

A representative of the ESPN television company in an official statement, however, assured that no harm was done to anyone: “The information is incorrect. The man in the suit was not injured while filming a program on ESPN.”
