Yafai stops Carmona

In the main event of the boxing evening in Fresno, California, undefeated WBA super flyweight champion Khalid Yafai (24-0, 15 KOs) scored an impressive victory in the seventh round over David Carmona (21-6-5, 9 KOs). Carmona was knocked down in the first, fourth and fifth rounds. Referee Raul Caiz deducted one point from Yafai in the fifth round for hitting an opponent who was already down. Carmona refused to continue the fight after the seventh round.
