Egis Klimas, the manager of WBA lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko, told to Boxingtalk.com about the purposes of his ward and potential contenders.

"No matter what Beltran has a lot of fans and he's a champion,” said Klimas. “That's all that matters today. He won his championship the hard way, he earned his championship and at 135 he's the naturally bigger guy, Beltran has been fighting at 135 or higher since 2007, it will just be Loma's second fight at the weight. Loma wants to unify titles though and I think he's going to be at lightweight for a very long time. Beltran being a good or bad champion is not for me to decide. A champion is a champion, a title is a title and that's where he's going to go. I think it would be ideal if Garcia is going to fight Easter and Loma is going to fight Beltran, that the winners should fight each other to unify for the undisputed championship."
