Former UFC featherweight title contender Yana Kunitskaya criticized Russian fans of mixed martial arts, negatively speaking about fighters from Russia.

"It seems to me that the Russians who perform in the MMA have the worst support of their compatriots. If you open Instagram of Khabib Nurmagomedov, then all the negative will be in Russian. I'm very pleased with my fans, so many pleasant words and support daily, but sometimes very unpleasant things are written, and strangely enough, 100% of these messages are from Russians. And now, Fedor... It's scary to read. This is probably because of envy? Unless a normal person will pour dirt on a compatriot who, for example, just became a champion of the UFC?" wrote Kunitskaya in her Instagram.
