Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman continues to recover from the second surgery on his arm and looks to the future with great optimism.

"I have big fights on the horizon. I have already achieved a lot, but I'm still young to continue my career in mixed martial arts. I have a lot of things ahead of me, and I'm not going to look back and say: "If it were not for injuries, things could have been different." I'm glad of my place in this sport. I am happy with my achievements and thank God for the possibilities that he gave me.

"I am the best middleweight in the world and I am able to dominate the division, it's not just words. I have the necessary mentality and physical skills to dominate this weight. Nevertheless, at first I need to fully recover from the operation on my arm and again to feel self-reliance," Weidman said on the air of The MMA Hour.
