The famous Russian MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko will fight against the Brazilian Gabriel Gonzaga on May 5 at the RCC Boxing tournament in Yekaterinburg.
"Alexander will sign a contract for four fights and will have the opportunity to hold two fights in the league "Ahmat". His first fight is scheduled for May 5 against Gabriel Gonzaga," said the organization's executive director Alexei Titov.
Emelianenko Jr. (25-6) resumed his career in September 2017 after a three-year hiatus, he had three fights and won them all by stoppages.
Gonzaga (17-11) fought for ten years in UFC, where he got 13 wins and suffered 10 defeats. His last fight 38-year-old Brazilian had in April 2016, when he lost to Derrick Lewis.
