Glovatsky beats Radchenko, despite the knockdown

Within the boxing event in Polish Nysa, former cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Głowacki (29-1, 18 KOs) got a unanimous decision over the previously undefeated Ukrainian Serhiy Radchenko (6-1, 1 KOs). Głowacki was down in the fifth round. The score were 77-74 on all cards.

Initially Głowacki was due to box against Munroy Sadiki (14-1-1, 6 KO's), but the boxer from Congo could not get to Poland because of visa problems, so Radchenko's candidacy was approved just two days before the fight. It is interesting that in his time Radchenko was fighting for the WSB team Polish Hussars.

After the battle Głowacki said that he would like to fight against the Russian Maxim Vlasov.

As part of the same evening, Ukrainian middleweight Fedor Cherkashin (8-0, 5 KOs) recorded his eighth victory in the pros by stopping in the first round the Russian Artem Karasev (9-33-2, 7 KOs).
