Sanchez: Gassiev is going to move to heavyweights

IBF Cruiserweight Champion Murat Gassiev and WBA Champion Yunier Dorticos wil battle on February 3 in Sochi as a semifinal meeting of World Boxing Super Series (WBSS). Abel Sanchez, coach of the Russian fighter says that his boxer in the event of victory in the tournament is going to move to heavyweights.

"Murat is absolutely sure that he is going to move to heavyweights and will fight there for the world title - this is his goal. If Gassiev wins WBSS, it will accelerate his transition to heavyweights," Sanchez said.
