Oscar Valdez can meet Scott Quigg

WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez and former world champion Scott Quigg are close to signing a contract for March 10 fight in Carson, California. The meeting will have to be broadcasted by ESPN.

In his last fight Quigg got a TKO victory in the sixth round over the Ukrainian Oleg Yefimovych. Valdez in September in an extremely spectacular battle got a points victory over Genesis Servania. During the battle, both opponents were knocked down.
