Russian Alexander Povetkin paid $250 thousand to World Boxing Council (WBC) as a fine. These funds will go to development of the anti-doping program "Clean Boxing". This was reported by WBC President Mauricio Suleiman.

"Alexander Povetkin paid a fine of $250,000 for the development of the Clean Boxing program," Suleiman said.
