The International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) announced the launch of the eighth season of the World Series of Boxing (WSB), which will begin in the first weekend of February next year. This season eleven teams will be divided into three groups:

America: Cuba Domadores (Cuba), Colombia Heroicos (Colombia) and Venezuela Caciques (Venezuela);

Europe: Croatian Knights (Croatia), British Lionhearts (Great Britain), Fighting Roosters (France) and Italia Thunder (Italy);

Asia: Astana Arlans (Kazakhstan), China Dragons (China), India team (India) and Patriot Boxing Team (Russia).

Thus, for the first time in the history of this semi-professional tournament, the teams of Croatia and India will take part in it. As in the previous season, the team "Ukrainian Atamans" will not participate in the tournament, but until mid-January, the participating teams have time to complete their ranks with legionaries.
