WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn (18-0-1, 12 KOs) scored a stoppage victory in the 11th round over Gary Corcoran (17-2, 7 KOs). In general, the equal fight was stopped when, in the opinion of the referee Benji Esteves Jr., the Briton began to get too many punches. At the time of stoppage, Corcoran earned several cuts and bruises over his left eye.
The next fight Horn may hold in Las Vegas against the former unified super lightweight champion Terence Crawford, who not so long ago received the status of official contender for the title of Australian.
