Three-time world kickboxing champion killed in Russia

The body of three-time world kickboxing champion Innokenty Makarov was found in Yakutsk. On the night of November 5 Makarov and the suspect were drinking in a private house. There was a conflict between the two, as a result of which the world kickboxing champion died of severe traumas.

Earlier it was reported that Innokenty Makarov left the house on November 5 and on November 13 detectives opened a murder case. Information about the murder was confirmed in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Yakutia. The suspect was identified and detained.

"The suspect was detained, he is a 36-year-old resident of Yakutsk, who took the body out of Yakutsk, and hid it in the forest near the highway," said sources familiar with the investigation.

Makarov was the chairman of the local non-profit garden joint venture "Satal", which accumulated a record debt to "Yakutskenergo" - 4.7 million rubles. Residents of the village consider themselves victims of fraud on the part of the administration.
