Former world champion Ricardo Mayorga of Nicaragua tells that he will retire in a year or two. 44-year-old Mayorga had already announced his retirement but this April again went into the ring and knocked out Haudiel Zepeda of Mexico. November 3 in Nizhny Novgorod Mayorga will fight Andrei Sirotkin of Russia for the WBA International title in the super middleweight division.

"Another year or two and I will finish my career," said Mayorga. "As for the fight with Sirotkin, I'll knock him out in two rounds. Two rounds will be enough because in the first I will “talk" a bit in the ring, and in the second round all the journalists will have enough time to take photos."

"No, I am very happy in my country," Mayorga answered for the question whether he thought about receiving Russian citizenship. "But I can say that Russia is a very beautiful country."
